Pros of having a Shower Tub:

Space Efficient: If you don’t have enough space to furnish your bathroom with a separate Walk-in Shower and a Bath Tub but still want to have both facilities then the Shower Tub is your best option. You can use the same space for your both needs. No extra space is required.

Feeling of Luxury: Having a tub is always going to give you the vibe of luxury. Coming home after a draining long day a long bath along with the shower is always something we want.

Better for Household Having Kids: Several surveys have conveyed that the household having kids normally leans towards home having a tub.

Looks Expensive: A Shower Tub always going to be a statement piece of your bathroom. The sleek and modern design of the shower tub can change the complete look of your bathroom.

Increases the Resale Value: NAHB’s recent study on what home buyers want, 2021 Edition portrayed that almost 74 percent wanted both a Walk-in shower and a tub. There is also a trait in buyers that they always prefer a home having at least one Tub. So having a shower tub can increase the resale value whereas only having only a walk-in shower may not.

  • Health Benefits: Taking a bath is indeed beneficial for relaxing muscles, gently exfoliating skin, and having good blood circulation. It can stimulate the nervous system. A bath after a busy day can wash away all the fatigue. A study in the name Physical and Mental Effects of Bathing: A randomized Intervention Study published in 2018 found that participants who took a warm bath each day experienced less stress, depression, anxiety, and tiredness.

Cons of having a Shower Tub:

Difficult to Access: A household having someone with difficulty in mobility can find it hard to access a Shower Tub as there will be a side to step over. And overall it can be difficult to enter an existence, especially for people with mobility disorders.

In 1883, after the invention of the first-ever Bathtub by an American man named John Michael Kohler, there have been many options out there implemented in designing a bathroom.
